Lima Bush Bean

CULTURE: Sow about 3" apart, 1" deep in rows 18-36" apart, after soil is at least 75°F (24°C).
HARVEST: Pick for fresh shelling when beans are plump and bulge inside pods.
NOTE: Limas like more heat than regular bush beans, and will bear poorly in a cool growing season. Choose a warm, well-drained location.
AVG. SEEDING RATE: 100'/lb., 10 lb./1,000', 145 lb./acre at 3' between rows.
