The following table contains a condensed summary of recommendations for countries to which we have difficulty exporting, or are altogether unable to export. For more general shipping information, see our International Shipping page.

Please note that we cannot guarantee that the information in the table below is fully up-to-date, and you are strongly advised to contact your Ministry of Agriculture for current information on the specific products you wish to import.

Argentina China Iraq Mauritius Nicaragua Saudi Arabia These countries are very difficult or impossible to ship to. A seed shipment to these countries would require an Import Permit and a Phytosanitary Certificate for importation. First, the Import Permit must be obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture. Then, if we can meet the permit requirements, we can provide the Phytosanitary Certificate, at a cost of $125 per order. Please note in advance that if the Import Permit includes any requirements for lab tests, field inspections, or fungicide treatments, we would be unable to meet those requirements.

Barbados Jamaica Peru Seed shipments to these countries require an Import Permit and a Phytosanitary Certificate for importation. First, an Import Permit must be obtained from the importing country's Ministry of Agriculture. If we are able to meet the permit requirements, we can then provide a Phytosanitary Certificate, at a cost of US$125 per order. Please note in advance that if the Import Permit includes any requirements for lab tests, field inspections, or fungicide treatments, we would be unable to meet those requirements.

Please take note in advance of the additional testing and other requirements for shipping the specified crops/species to certain countries, as summarized below.

Australia There are additional requirements for shipping bean, carrot, celery, cucumber, fennel, melon, parsnips, peas, pepper, pumpkin, squash, or tomato seeds.
France There are additional testing requirements for shipping bean, eggplant, pepper, tomato, or sunflower seeds.
Greece There are additional testing requirements for shipping bean, eggplant, pepper, sunflower, or tomato seeds.
Hong Kong
Hungary There are additional testing requirements for shipping bean, eggplant, pepper, sunflower, or tomato seeds.
Italy There are additional testing requirements for shipping bean, eggplant, pepper, sunflower, or tomato seeds.
Japan There are additional testing requirements for shipping bean, carrot, cucumber, melon, pepper, pumpkin, squash, or tomato seeds.
New Zealand There are additional requirements for shipping bean, corn, eggplant, melon, pea, pepper, pumpkin, squash, sunflower, tomato, or wheat seeds.
Singapore
South Korea There are additional requirements for shipping carrots, eggplant, or pepper seeds. Diplotaxis species of arugula are prohibited.
Taiwan There are additional testing requirements for shipping beet, pea, or Swiss chard seeds.
United Arab Emirates An import license needs to be obtained from the Ministry of Agriculture.
Vietnam
Shouldn't need a Phytosanitary Certificate, but should check/confirm
Seed shipments to the following countries do not require a Phytosanitary Certificate, or require one for only the crops specified below. It is always best, however, to verify requirements in advance with your Ministry of Agriculture, as they will be able to provide the current regulations.
