'Crème Upstar' Double Late Flowering Tulip

I'm here in our tulip trial in front of 'Crème Upstar'.

I'm here in our tulip trial. We're looking at some of our later flowering double varieties, and this variety in front of me is 'Crème Upstar'. This is a really beautiful double flowering variety. It blooms a little bit later in the season. And so it's a nice way to close out the season. The flowers open with a little bit of green and ivory.

And then as the blooms continue to unfold and mature, the flowers take on a little bit of a blush tint on the edges of the pedals. It's a really nice transformation as these blooms mature. This variety also has a nice citrus fragrance. So it's lightly fragrant, really classic kind of pastel tulip colors. And again, it's a later flowering double variety.
